Christian Johansson - Improvised solo part II ( backing track by Fredie) (mp3)
There's an ongoing guitar playing contest right now on 'Gitarrforum.se'. One is supposed to play as good as you can and the winner gets a nice Ibanez guitar. For a while ago I got my hands on a great backing track made by Fredie on a swedish forum called 'Diskantforum.se'. This is the second solo I made listening to it. Some notes are taken from my first solo, but they were cool so what the hey ;-).
This solo is my contribution to the contest :)

I'm also in a band called Winesleaf together with Paulin Rubensson and a guy called Nisse. On this track I play all guitars and synt fill ins, Paulin all vocals and Nisse bass and bass fill ins.

I got my hands
on a great backing track made by Fredie on a swedish forum called 'Diskantforum.se'
and felt inspired. This is the solo I made. I have to say that I'm quite pleased
by the outcome...except some doubtful notes that found its way into my solo.

Christian Johansson - Solomania (mp3)
Crafton (in Sweden and Denmark) was nice to hold a guitar solo contest called "Solomania" 2009.
There were 3 jury
members who picked 4 solos. Beside the jury, Internet users could vote on
the best solo.
The winner with the most votes would be send along with the other 4 solos
from the jury to Paul Gilbert who
would pick the WINNER!!!
The winner, a guy from Sweden Anton Lindsjö, won! A great player and beside the great honour of winning, he won a Ibanez guitar!!! So COOL!

No one like You (demo excerpt mp3)
Here is a break I recorded a week ago in my studio. The break is
taken from an acoustic song called 'No one like You.
This is a song that has been laying around for too long! But the form of the
song is done and has been recorded. However the recordring of the song didn't
quite do it. The song is still around but it needs some care and more recordtime
;-)
The lyrics are written by me and Paulin Rubensson (vocals), please check out
Winesleaf for the vocal and
some more of the song stuff.
